The Roanoke Minecraft Marathon is an event hosted by Bread Vision Studios and Roanoke Hobby and Electronics. We play games, create awareness and do fundraising for the Children's Miracle Network, through Extra-Life.org, along with thousands of other players around the world.

Countdown to the Extra Life 2016 Marathon!

Extra Life

For the 24-hour marathon, we will have three Minecraft servers and a Hexxit server online. To stay connected, a TeamSpeak 3 server will be available and teams will be able to have their own channel, if desired. To take a break from Minecraft, you can play any of your other favorite games during the event. Portions of the marathon will be streamed through Twitch.

To participate, you can join us at CoLab Roanoke or play from home. You can join Extra-Life.org as an individual, join the Roanoke Hobby team or create your own team with your friends!

This event is free and open to the public. Have fun playing Minecraft and help support Children's Miracle Network!

The Extra Life 2016 Marathon will be held November 5, 2016 starting at 8:00 am.

To participate, you can play anywhere you like to game (most people play from home!).

The CoLab Roanoke has also graciously agreed to provide space for the Roanoke Minecraft Marathon!
